Leaf on the Wind"Leaf on the Wind"
"So, Risa. What did you want to do?" Kilk asked in an interested tone. They had been given the rest of the day to themselves as the matches had been going faster than expected and they had gotten to the point where the proctors were going to cut them off earlier than expected. Instead of spending the rest of the day in the place that his mother had arranged for him bored out of his mind, Risa asked him if he would want to go and do something for a little while. Naturally inquisitive, Kilk continually asked what it was that Risa had planned, to which she only said that he would see when they got there. Eventuall Leaf on the Wind

First Round"Fight On! The First Round Begins."
One after the other, the rest of the trainee hopefuls filed into the hall. Still, in spite of all of the anticipation at what the instructors were planning, Kilk was asleep. He had climbed up onto one of the rafters and slept with his head on his bag. With a curious huff, Risa turned to the shorter girl standing next to her and asked. "How the hell can he fall asleep like that?"

Megu and Risa exchanged glances and after a few seconds, she shrugged and answered. "I don't know, he's been able to do that ever since I've known him."

Departure"The Departure"
"Again Kilk!" Lexi bellowed. "How do you expect to protect anything like that!?" She returned to her stance and said. "Again, with some feeling!"

Exhausted and barely able to stand, Kilk somehow brought forward the strength to pull himself back into his stance. He knew the round of training only continued until he could no longer stand, but he was determined to prove himself to his mother.

"So, you still want to go?" Lexi said. "Okay then Little One, let's rock." With that the new round of training started.

Prologue"Twelve Years Ago."
It was dark, the boy couldn't see anything. He was running as fast as he could over the cold ground, led by someone he couldn't quite see. They turned left, then another left, and a right, his heart was racing, he looked back and saw a sea of torches, and soldiers with horrifying faces but he couldn't stop running, he could hear their thundering footsteps drawing ever closer to him but he didn't stop running. He knew if he stopped they would get him, and he didn't want that. he ran for what seemed to him like forever, then he noticed that he could no longer feel the hand of the person that was leading him, nor Prologue

Nameless Story

I decided that I would start posting this story that I have been writing. I only have like 4 chapters done and I kinda haven't written anything for it in a while but I just found where I had the files that I was writing it to and figured I should put it up. I don't have a name for it yet so any help with that would be appreciated. I decided to change the name to that of one of the characters I recently made up but it's the story of this kid and three of his friends trying to make it through the training program for the High Guard of the Kingdom of Alanis, also known as the 'Cross Guard'. There are many shenanigans that go through on the way, and all I have is up until I believe the first round of the entrance exam fights done. Anyway enough rambling I hope you all enjoy.
